History Of.......

Tiverton Town Majorettes have been running for 38 years and was given permission to wear the Town Crest in 1999 we have recently won the right to bear the crest a further 5 years.

In 1999, they competed with B.I.M.A. (Later became B.I.B.T.A.) In the Nationals in Blackpool and returned home to Tiverton with 9 awards.

In 2000, they competed with N.A.M.E. in the European Championships in Croatia returning to England as European Champions for Devon, with 2 Golds and 1 Silver.

Tiverton Town Majorettes have no major sponsorship and have to raise their own funds. Parents and Majorettes work hard throughout the year to help support the troupe.

Tiverton Town Majorettes is a governed youth organisation. All Trainers and management Committee are CRB checked. We have an active Safeguarding Children Policy as well as Health and Safety Policy and follow a Good Practice Guide.
